It is one of England's biggest treasures I would say. A real beauty that has been safely kept to this day and that attracts over 1 million tourists every year.
Canterbury Cathedral is huge and needs a few hours at least to explore it inside-out. But it is worth your time I can assure you, especially if you are interested in history. The entry ticket for an adult is approximately £10 and for a child under 18 is £7. I wouldn't say it's pricey as it is actually worth it. I am sure you will realise this after seeing my humble pictures below.
The feeling when you step inside the Cathedral is beyond any words. It is simply breathtaking (probably my favourite word when it comes to describe amazing things/places).
This is what I loved most about the Cathedral. All it's halls made of old stones, the colours, the darkness and the light. The most peaceful places I've ever been to, full of history. You can almost feel the events that happened here hundreds of years ago. (and hey, if you watch TV programmes or historic movies you will even envision these halls and create a history of your own)
I know that these pictures speak for themselves. Although I must say, in reality is all much more beautiful and you've seen here.
DO visit the Cathedral if you have the chance! It is a must see!
